I love games; horrors and puzzle/strategy are my favourite genres but I enjoy playing pretty much anything. I still believe a good story is important and shouldn't play second fiddle to the multiplayer experience unless via a co-op campaign. I also enjoy watching football, supporting the mighty Liverpool, as well as drinking tea and petting my kittens.

At this year’s Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, iDreamSky, the Chinese mobile game publisher, are looking to launch a new Indie publishing platform in China. As one of the most successful in their field in Asia, iDreamSky are looking to push on with their work, evolving from purely mobile games to a wider market. They’re set to announce their plans and pitch their ideas by hosting an Indie games developer party for the best and brightest in the Indie development community, offering them the opportunity to socialise and network with others in the game industry.

This is going to be a great opportunity for many Indie developers to get their games into a growing Chinese market, as well as make new acquaintances that could potentially open up new doors in the future.
